Well 1.5 more sleeps to honest. Tonight and half of tomorrow as we will be up again by midnight and driving to Katoomba for a 3:00 am start on Saturday 3rd October.
The starting line up is: David, Melinda, Clare, Karl, Helen, Mark and Simon. Andrew is a late scratching but will back us up as support crew to pick up anyone from Kanangra Walls Rd. Stephen Brading and Rod Wales are also on call if required.
The weather forecast is for a big cool down from todays Sydney temp of 31C. We are expecting 8-12C both days with showers. This should be close to ideal. We could do without the rain but the cool temperatures will be a big help compared to last years heat wave.
This is a grueling 35 hrs on our feet, with a single overnight camp to get some weight off our feet half way through. Who will survive the w/e and complete in 48 hrs. Keep watching as we will be posting from the higher points on the route, where we know we can get reception.
